we met in 2006 and have been married for almost 15 years.  Christian works in the real estate development world and Melissa works as a sales trainer and coach.  We are both passionate about good design, love to find ways to add personality to projects, rooms and spaces, and somehow find ways to make our combined design style, that is best described as “transitional modern”, into our home.

we became homeowners in 2009 buying in a popular ‘hood in Toronto’s east end known as Leslieville.  5 years later, we purchased our second home, located just north of the Danforth (“Greektown”) in Toronto.  In 2016, we sold our first home, purchased our lakefront cottage “up north”, and started planning for the BIG ONE.  No, not a baby (although we did welcomed our son, Harrison, into our family in spring 2015.

The BIG ONE is a lifelong dream of Christian’s, and that is to design and build our own home.  So, in Spring of 2019, we purchased an old home near the Danforth and started on the journey to build our forever dream home.  Tear down and rebuild began in spring 2020 (yes, right when COVID began), and in Fall 2023 we moved back into our dream home (and lived to tell the tale).

we aim to live a happy, healthy and balanced (except when real estate decisions are involved) life.
